MES consultant

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional with the following qualifications and responsibilities:

1. Experience: 8 to 20 years of relevant experience in the field.
2. Work Mode: Remote work with occasional travel to client offices.
3. Languages: Proficiency in English and Italian.

Responsibilities:

• Possess experience and technical knowledge of AVEVA MES solutions, which is mandatory.
• Work with AVEVA MES Modules, including Performance, Operations, and Quality.
• Utilize AVEVA InTouch and/or OMI.
• Have a good understanding of Production Scheduling, Optimization, Production Sequencing, Order Execution, Genealogy and Traceability, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), ERP Integration, Production Quality, and Automation.
• Prepare and understand functional requirements for Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) and Manufacturing IT systems.
• Convert business requirements into functional or technical solutions by mapping business processes to manufacturing IT MES systems.
• Develop Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), Design Specifications (FDS), and conduct testing and validation exercises, including scripting for functional validation.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as ISA-95, ISA-88, MESA, GMP, etc.
• Experience with upgrade migrations, employing various tools, approaches, and best practices.
• Understand control systems automation and their integration with MES.
• Have manufacturing domain experience across diverse industries.
