MES consultant

Job Description

We are seeking a professional with the following qualifications and experience:

1. Experience: 8 to 20 years of relevant experience in the field.
2. Work Mode: Remote, with occasional travel to client offices.
3. Language: Proficiency in English and Italian.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrated experience and technical knowledge with AVEVA MES solutions is mandatory.
• Expertise in AVEVA MES Modules: Performance, Operations, and Quality.
• Experience with AVEVA InTouch and/or OMI.
• Strong knowledge of Production Scheduling, Optimization, Production Sequencing, Order Execution, Genealogy, Traceability, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), ERP Integration, Production Quality, and Automation.
• Ability to prepare and understand functional requirements for Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) and Manufacturing IT systems.
• Experience in translating business requirements into functional or technical solutions, mapping business processes to manufacturing IT MES systems.
• Proficiency in preparing Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), Design Specifications (FDS), testing, and validation exercises, including constructing test scripts for SITUAT and functional validation.
• Knowledge of leading industry standards such as ISA-95, ISA-88, MESA, GMP, etc.
• Experience in upgrade and migration projects, utilizing various tools, approaches, and best practices.
• Understanding of control systems automation and its integration with MES.
• Manufacturing domain experience across diverse industries.
