MES consultant

Job Description

We are seeking a professional with expertise in AVEVA MES solutions for a remote role with occasional travel to client offices. The ideal candidate will have:

1. 8 to 20 years of relevant experience.
2. Proficiency in English and Italian.

Responsibilities include:

• Demonstrated experience and technical knowledge of AVEVA MES modules, specifically Performance, Operations, and Quality.
• Experience with AVEVA InTouch and/or OMI.
• Strong knowledge of production scheduling, optimization, sequencing, order execution, genealogy, traceability, overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), ERP integration, production quality, and automation.
• Ability to interpret and prepare functional requirements for Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) and manufacturing IT systems.
• Converting business requirements into functional or technical solutions by mapping processes to MES systems.
• Experience in preparing Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), Design Specifications (FDS), testing, and validation, including test script creation for system validation.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as ISA-95, ISA-88, MESA, GMP.
• Experience with upgrade and migration projects, utilizing various tools and best practices.
• Understanding of control systems automation and their integration with MES.
• Manufacturing domain experience across diverse industries.
