With a passionate customer base and a unique product offering, we're seeking a detail-oriented Merchandising Manager to help shape the future of our product catalog and customer experience.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and data-driven Merchandising Manager to oversee product strategy, assortment planning, and customer experience across all retail and e-commerce channels. This role will be instrumental in ensuring our customers are presented with compelling, functional, and on-brand products that support the FluentPet mission. You will collaborate with product, marketing, operations, and e-commerce teams to deliver seamless product presentation and optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute merchandising strategies that align with brand goals and customer insights.
• Manage the product lifecycle, including new product introduction, pricing strategy, bundling, and end-of-life transitions.
• Analyze product performance and customer behavior to guide assortment planning and inventory decisions.
• Collaborate with product development to identify new merchandising opportunities and customer needs.
• Own the visual merchandising and categorization strategy on FluentPet's e-commerce platforms.
• Work closely with marketing to support product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
• Partner with supply chain and operations to forecast demand and ensure product availability.
• Monitor competitor trends and market insights to inform merchandising strategy.
• Ensure a consistent and engaging brand experience across product listings, packaging, and promotional materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in merchandising, e-commerce, or category management, preferably in consumer goods or DTC brands.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and customer insights into actionable strategies.
• Proficiency with tools like Excel / Google Sheets, Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Shopify or merchandising software.
• Experience with inventory management and forecasting.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• A customer-first mindset with a passion for improving product experience.
• Strong collaboration skills and comfort working cross-functionally in a remote team environment.
