TJX Companies cerca un/una Merchandise Buying Assistant per la sede italiana, in un contesto dinamico e inclusivo. L’opportunità prevede supporto ai Buyers e collaborazione con partner interni ed esterni, contribuendo a ottimizzare ordini, campioni e rilascio di report.

La posizione richiede ottime capacità organizzative, problem solving e flessibilità, con attenzione al dettaglio e capacità di lavorare sia in modo indipendente sia in team, in un ambiente veloce.

Qualificações

• Diploma di scuola superiore o equivalente.
• Buone capacità comunicative e di relazionarsi con partner interni ed esterni.
• Capacità di lavorare in autonomia e in team, con attenzione al dettaglio.

Responsabilidades

• Entra ordini di acquisto in modo accurato e tempestivo per i buyers.
• Seguire ordini ritardati e spedizioni in arrivo, aggiornando i saldi.
• Modifiche a PO: estensioni, cancellazioni e cambi di costo/retail.
• Interagire con fornitori su modifiche PO e status di spedizione.
• Creare e gestire report per i buyers (On Order, Sales).
• Organizzare campioni e spazio espositivo per i Buyers.

Job Description

Merchandise/Buying Assistant

Our Merchandise/Buying Assistants provide diversified support for multiple buyers in a dynamic fast-paced work environment. Our Merchandise Assistants possess strong communication skills and act as a liaison between the Buyers, Internal Business Partners, and the Vendor Community. They must also possess strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail. They are resourceful and confident in problem solving. They must be able to work well independently as well as in a team.

• Enters purchase orders in an accurate and timely manner for buyers across multiple departments
• Follows up on late orders and upcoming shipments and completes balances as needed
• Completes purchase order modifications including delivery extensions, cancellations, and cost & retail changes
• Works internally to resolve issues (Accounts Payable, PO departments/chain moves, Planning, Distribution and Fulfillment Centers, etc.)
• Communicates with vendors regarding PO modifications/changes, PO shipment statuses and other inquiries
• Communicates with logistics to ensure vendors ship correctly
• Creates and runs reports for buyers as needed (On Order, Sales, etc.)
• Organizes and maintains merchandise samples and sample space for Buyers including returning samples to vendors
• Assists in preparing for Style Out and Strategy meetings by gathering samples, preparing selling recaps, etc.
• Assists Buyers with special projects as needed (i.e. recap projects, trend recaps, trend boards, etc.)
• Maintains positive relationships across different areas of business including our global offices

Who We’re Looking For: You.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Self-directed, able to work independently yet collaborate as needed within Merchandise Operations and cross functionally
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to assess and tailor style to different personalities/needs
• Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills
• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability
• High attention to detail, strong organizational and follow through skills
• Able to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining a positive and professional demeanor
• Able to build relationships, be personable, maintain a positive attitude and collaborate with others
• Able to learn and adapt to new computer systems
• Experience with Microsoft to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Reliable Internet/WiFi connection required

Questa posizione ha un intervallo retributivo iniziale previsto compreso tra 27,400.00 € e 35,560.00 €. La remunerazione iniziale effettiva è determinata da una serie di fattori, tra cui skill, qualifiche ed esperienza pertinenti.
