A leading company is seeking a skilled MEP Engineer for the UniMi project to oversee construction interface, analyze nonconformities, and coordinate engineering activities. Candidates should possess a degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, and demonstrate proficiency in English and relevant software applications like MS Office and AutoCAD.

Descrizione del lavoro

For the UniMi project, Renco is looking for a MEP Engineer.

Duties & responsibilities :

Ensures interface with the Construction team (HSE, Site material management, Quality Control, Construction Supervision, and Commissioning & Start-up) and provides assistance as needed for issues related to the discipline. Checks the conformity and consistency of technical documentation received from the Head Office, making it available to the Discipline Supervisor. Ensures analysis of engineering, materials, and construction nonconformities encountered on-site, involving the relevant Head Office department for corrective actions. Analyzes the technical feasibility of construction work, providing information on the availability of documents and materials on-site. Coordinates engineering activities related to site procurement. Liaises with the Head Office Project discipline team on engineering matters and seeks approval for proposed design modifications before implementation. Communicates with the Client’s / Owner’s discipline technical representative on engineering issues. Identifies and tracks construction punches, ensuring their resolution. Performs technical verifications on-site. Endorses, checks, and updates the bill of materials. Ensures interface with vendor representatives alongside the relevant Discipline Supervisor. Develops method statements (MOS), site procedures, and materials approval requests (MAR). Manages site queries, including material substitutions. Maintains records of changes and additions to documents resulting from construction and commissioning until the 'as-built' drawings are prepared by himself or a dedicated team.

Specific to MEP discipline: Endorses, updates, and adapts engineering deliverables such as heat, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, plumbing (water supply & sewage) packages drawings and details, plans, views, and sections.

Required competencies :

Ability to work in a multicultural environment. Aptitude for team coordination. Proficiency in English. Good knowledge and practice of main MS Office programs (Excel, Word). Good knowledge of AutoCAD.

Qualifications :

Degree in Engineering, preferably with a focus on Mechanical Engineering.
