Make your mark for patients

To strengthen our Rheuma-Bone Team, based in our affiliate in Milan, Italy, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of Medical Scientific Liaison Rheuma-Bone Team.

As a Medical Scientific Liaison Rheuma-Bone for North Italy, you will identify and foster purposeful partnerships with key scientific influencers to drive new sources of patient value. Your area will be located in North Italy.

About the role

As a Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL), you will identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), ensuring they receive the latest information on emerging trends, scientific data, and updates on new products, pipeline developments, and respond to scientific requests about off-label uses of current products. You will monitor evolving guidelines and keep KOLs informed with current information related to our products and pipeline. You will collect insights from KOLs regarding unmet needs of patients and physicians to improve patient care standards. You will share relevant insights with the medical team and cross-functional colleagues, collaborating on initiatives to enhance patient value.

You will work with

Clinical studies and development teams, sharing insights with R&D and Evidence Generation teams. You will support market access colleagues with RWE, HEOR, and clinical information for regional and local payer accounts. You will also support strategic teams to ensure project success and collaborate closely with sales colleagues to manage information requests from physicians and KOLs.

In this environment, you can:

  • Provide customer value through peer-to-peer scientific exchange with medical influencers.
  • Impact business strategy and improve patient care by sharing crucial insights in national and international settings.
  • Work in a cross-functional team supporting Market Access and Commercial activities with scientific insights.

Your contributions include:

  • Developing and maintaining Medical Plans for key customers.
  • Managing your territory effectively, focusing 70-80% of your time on customer interactions.
  • Ensuring ongoing access to stakeholders involved in decision-making.
  • Supporting onboarding and training of colleagues.
  • Providing scientific support during hospital meetings, congresses, and educational events.
  • Supporting clinical trials and non-interventional studies with your therapeutic expertise.
  • Contributing scientific knowledge to the local cross-functional team.

Requirements for this position include:

  • Doctorate degree (PhD) in a relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Bone Metabolism Disorders, Rheumatology, or Inflammatory Diseases.
  • Willingness to travel 60% of the time. Preference for candidates based in Milan or North Italy.
  • Experience with product launches is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in Italian and English.
  • Ability to articulate complex scientific concepts clearly.
  • Team player with proactive attitude and digital proficiency.
