Competenze

To strengthen our Immunology team, we are looking for a talented profile to fill the position of Medical Scientific Liaison Dermatology North of Italy.

About the role

As a Medical Scientific Liaison, you will identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), ensuring they receive the latest information on emerging trends, scientific data, and updates on new product pipelines. You will respond to scientific requests and information about off-label uses of current products. You will monitor evolving guidelines and keep KOLs informed with the most current information related to our products and pipeline. Additionally, you will collect insights from KOLs regarding unmet needs of patients and physicians to drive improvements in patient care. You will share relevant insights with the medical team and collaborate on initiatives that enhance patient value.

You will work with

Clinical studies and development teams, sharing insights with R&D and Evidence Generation. As the local scientific expert, you will support market access colleagues by presenting RWE, HEOR, and clinical information to payers and formulary committees. You will also support strategic projects with commercial and medical teams, ensuring proper management of information requests from physicians and KOLs.

What you will do

  • Understand the implications of new issues and trends on stakeholder activities.
  • Align organizational goals with emerging issues, considering drug lifecycle knowledge.
  • Create and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders.
  • Achieve access to relevant stakeholders appropriately.
  • Collaborate to ensure compliance and quality in services.
  • Translate patient insights into value-driven engagements.
  • Connect industry trends with stakeholder knowledge to teach patient value insights.
  • Manage evidence generation and data synthesis to differentiate our value proposition.
  • Prepare account strategies based on stakeholder segmentation.
  • Maintain ongoing access to stakeholders and participate in decision-making.
  • Support onboarding and scientific training of colleagues as needed.

Interested? For this position, you'll need the following education, experience, and skills:

  • Doctorate (PhD preferred) or Master’s degree.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Dermatology or relevant therapeutic areas like Rheumatology or Inflammatory Diseases.
  • Proficiency in Italian and English (oral and written).
  • Travel requirement: 60%. Preference for candidates based in Lombardia, covering Lombardia, Piemonte, Liguria, Val d'Aosta, Trentino, and Friuli Venezia Giulia. Experience in launching new products is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Active listening and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Team-oriented with knowledge sharing ability.
  • Business acumen and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proactive, independent, and team player.
  • Digital proficiency (e.g., MS Teams, Office, CRM).
