Medical Scientific Liaison (m / f / d) – Italy

The territory is divided into three parts.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain relationships with key thought leaders (TLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs).
• Engage in scientific exchange on disease landscape, mode-of-action, and clinical data.
• Represent the company at scientific congresses and professional meetings.
• Develop deep expertise in the therapeutic area, stakeholders, and healthcare landscape.
• Support medical plans and scientific engagement in Hepatology and Gastroenterology.
• Attend and summarize key scientific meetings and conferences.
• Collaborate with internal teams (commercial, access, clinical) to share insights.
• Provide scientific training for internal teams and support speaker / advisory boards.
• Respond to external inquiries with accurate clinical and scientific information.
• Gather insights from TLs / HCPs to inform clinical and commercial strategy.
• Ensure ethical compliance, complete mandatory training, and follow industry regulations.

Your Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in healthcare or life sciences (MD, PharmD, PhD, etc.).
• 3+ years of medical field experience (MSL or similar).
• Preferred experience in Hepatology or Gastroenterology.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory, health technology assessment, and disease management.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with adaptability to change and ownership of responsibilities.
• Strong scientific understanding and ability to communicate emerging data.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
• Willingness to travel internationally and engage with KOLs.
• Fluent written and spoken English skills.
