Job Title: Medical Sales Representative

Location: Rome, Italy. Hybrid

Job Description

The Medical Sales Representative promotes and sells medical products to healthcare professionals, educating them on the benefits and features of these products. They build and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring they stay informed about new products and industry trends. The role involves extensive travel and meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Implement Sales / Direct Sale plans and processes to maximize sales opportunity through promotion and sale of technical and/or nontechnical products and/or services and solutions directly to current and new end customers.
  2. Track and monitor lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline.
  3. Implement and execute Sales / Direct Sales processes and policies ensuring product/brand sales volumes and profit targets are met.
  4. Collaborate on Sales / Direct Sales activities informing customers of new product/service introductions and prices.

Skills & Qualifications

  1. Previous experience in sales, particularly in the pharmaceutical area with focus on dermatology or other therapeutic areas, is highly valued.
  2. Understanding of the benefits, certifications, and regulations related to biological products, market, current trends and consumer preferences.
  3. Understanding of medical products and terminology is crucial.
  4. Strong scientific background (Decreto Legislativo 219/2006) (Bachelor's or master's degree in Pharmacy or related field).
  5. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and healthcare providers.
  6. Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and a strong understanding of sales processes.
  7. Intermediate English needed.
  8. Excellent Communication Skills.
  9. Customer Service Skills.
