Competenze

Job Overview

For our dynamic and innovative Brands division within an established international pharmaceutical company, we seek an experienced Medical Affairs field professional. This role offers the opportunity to operate autonomously, develop broadly, and engage in all aspects of the business, managing your own daily work.

Team and Location

You will be part of a team of 3 Medical Managers in Italy, reporting to the Lead Medical Managers Europe. The European management team is based across Europe, with offices in Amsterdam, Netherlands. You should reside in Italy and speak English to communicate effectively with the European team.

Major Tasks & Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute Medical Affairs strategies and scientific projects, including publications and advisory boards.
  2. Build and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with KOLs and healthcare influencers using evidence-based information.
  3. Support product development and launch through scientific exchange, particularly in melanoma.
  4. Assist with Early Access Program requests from HCPs for melanoma patients.
  5. Support business activities related to Odomzo (sonidegib) for basal cell carcinoma.
  6. Lead investigator-initiated trials and monitor their progress.
  7. Disseminate scientific information about marketed and pipeline products ethically and timely.
  8. Develop networks within Derma-oncology and other TAs.
  9. Communicate emerging data to experts and respond to HCP inquiries.
  10. Support colleagues in organizing HCP events with medical content.
Education and Qualifications
  • Mandatory: (Bio)medical or scientific academic degree.
  • Driver’s license.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as MSL or Medical Manager in innovative pharma.
  • At least 1 year in a commercial role within pharma.
  • Native Italian speaker and fluent in English.
  • Desirable: Dermatology or Oncology experience.
  • Desirable: Experience with Early Access Programs in Italy.
