An established international pharmaceutical company is seeking a driven Medical Affairs professional to join its dynamic Brands division. Competenze

  • 3+ years of experience as MSL or Medical Manager in innovative pharma.

Job Overview

For our dynamic and growing Brands division within an established international pharmaceutical company, we seek an experienced Medical Affairs field professional. This role requires an autonomous, entrepreneurial mindset and offers broad development opportunities across all business aspects, including managing your own daily work.

Team and Reporting

You will be part of a team of 3 Medical Managers in Italy, responsible for Medical Affairs strategy and project execution, as well as supporting Sales and Marketing colleagues. Fluency in English and residence in Italy are required, with reporting to the Lead Medical Managers Europe based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Major Tasks & Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute Medical Affairs strategies and scientific projects, including publications and advisory boards.
  2. Build peer-to-peer relationships with KOLs and healthcare influencers, based on scientific evidence.
  3. Support product development and launch in melanoma through scientific exchange.
  4. Assist with Early Access Program requests for melanoma patients in Italy.
  5. Provide business support for Odomzo (sonidegib) in Italy for basal cell carcinoma.
  6. Lead investigator-initiated trial approvals and monitor progress.
  7. Disseminate clinical and scientific information about marketed and pipeline products ethically and timely.
  8. Develop networks in Derma-oncology and future TAs.
  9. Communicate emerging data to experts and respond to healthcare professional inquiries.
  10. Support colleagues in organizing HCP events with medical content.
Education & Qualifications
  1. Mandatory: (Bio)medical or scientific academic degree.
  2. Driver’s license.
  3. Minimum 3 years of experience as MSL or Medical Manager in innovative pharma.
  4. At least 1 year in a commercial role within pharma.
  5. Native Italian speaker and fluent in English.
  6. Desirable: Dermatology or Oncology experience.
  7. Desirable: Experience with Early Access Programs in Italy.
