An established international pharmaceutical company is seeking a dynamic Medical Affairs professional to join their innovative Brands division. This role offers the opportunity to operate autonomously while engaging in all aspects of the business. You will collaborate with a team of Medical Managers, driving Medical Affairs strategies and supporting product launches. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in Dermatology or Oncology, and possess excellent communication skills. Competenze

  • 3+ years of MSL or Medical Manager experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

For our dynamic growing, innovative Brands division within an established international pharmaceutical company, we are seeking an experienced Medical Affairs field professional. This role requires someone who dares to look beyond traditional pharma MSL roles and operate autonomously in an entrepreneurial manner. It offers the opportunity to develop broadly by engaging in all aspects of the business and managing your own daily work.

You will be part of a team of 3 Medical Managers in Italy, responsible for Medical Affairs strategy and the execution of medical projects. You will also support Sales and Marketing colleagues, with a demonstrated ability to identify commercial opportunities. Candidates must reside in Italy, speak English for communication with the European management team, and report to the Lead Medical Managers Europe, based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Major Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute Medical Affairs strategies and scientific projects, including publications and advisory boards.
  • Build and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with country KOLs, influencers, and healthcare leaders, based on scientific and medical evidence.
  • Support the development and launch of products through scientific exchange in melanoma.
  • Assist with Early Access Program requests from HCPs in Italy for melanoma patients.
  • Support business activities related to Odomzo (sonidegib) for locally advanced basal cell carcinoma in Italy.
  • Lead the approval process for investigator-initiated trials and monitor their progress.
  • Disseminate clinical and scientific information about marketed and pipeline compounds in a compliant and ethical manner.
  • Establish and support networks in Derma-oncology and potential future therapeutic areas.
  • Communicate emerging data to experts and respond to healthcare professional inquiries.
  • Assist colleagues in organizing HCP events by providing medical content support.
Education & Qualifications
  • Mandatory: (Bio)medical or scientific academic degree.
  • Driver’s license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of MSL or Medical Manager experience in the innovative pharmaceutical industry.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a commercial role within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Fluent in Italian (native) and English.
  • Desirable: Dermatology or Oncology experience.
  • Desirable: Experience with Early Access Programs in Italy.
