Job Overview

For our dynamic and innovative Brands division within an established international pharmaceutical company, we are seeking an experienced Medical Affairs field professional. This role offers autonomy and entrepreneurial opportunities, allowing you to develop broadly by engaging in all aspects of the business and managing your own daily work.

Team and Reporting

You will join a team of 3 Medical Managers in Italy, responsible for Medical Affairs strategy and project execution. You will also support Sales and Marketing colleagues, with an affinity for identifying commercial opportunities. You live in Italy, speak English for communication with the European Management team, and report to the Lead Medical Managers Europe, based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Major Tasks & Responsibilities
  1. Develop Medical Affairs strategies and execute scientific projects such as publications and advisory boards.
  2. Build relationships with KOLs and healthcare influencers using evidence-based information.
  3. Support product development and launch in melanoma through scientific exchange.
  4. Assist with Early Access Program requests for melanoma patients in Italy.
  5. Support business activities related to Odomzo (sonidegib) for basal cell carcinoma.
  6. Lead investigator-initiated trial approvals and monitor progress.
  7. Disseminate clinical and scientific information ethically and timely.
  8. Develop networks in Derma-oncology and other TAs.
  9. Communicate emerging data to experts and respond to inquiries.
  10. Provide medical content support for HCP events.
Education & Qualifications
  • Mandatory: (Bio)medical or scientific degree.
  • Driver’s license.
  • At least 3 years of MSL or Medical Manager experience in innovative pharma.
  • Minimum 1 year in a commercial role within pharma.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
  • Desirable: Dermatology/Oncology experience and familiarity with Early Access Programs in Italy.
