Competenze

Job Overview

For our dynamic and growing Brands division within an established international pharmaceutical company, we seek an experienced Medical Affairs field professional. This role requires someone who dares to think beyond traditional pharma MSL boundaries and operate autonomously in an entrepreneurial manner. It offers the opportunity to develop broadly by engaging in all aspects of the business and managing your own daily work.

Team and Location

You will join a team of 3 Medical Managers in Italy. You will be responsible for the Medical Affairs strategy and execution of medical projects, as well as providing support to Sales and Marketing colleagues, with a demonstrable affinity for spotting commercial opportunities. You must reside in Italy and speak English to communicate with the European Management team, based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. You will report to the Lead Medical Managers Europe.

Major Tasks & Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute Medical Affairs strategies and scientific projects such as publications and advisory boards.
2. Identify and build relationships with KOLs and healthcare influencers, utilizing evidence-based information.
3. Support the development and launch of products through scientific exchange, particularly in melanoma.
4. Assist with Early Access Program requests for melanoma patients in Italy.
5. Support business activities related to Odomzo (sonidegib) for basal cell carcinoma.
6. Lead processes for investigator-initiated trials and monitor their progress.
7. Disseminate clinical and scientific information timely, compliant, and ethically.
8. Build and support networks in Derma-oncology and other therapeutic areas.
9. Communicate emerging data to experts and respond to healthcare professional inquiries.
10. Assist colleagues in organizing HCP events with medical content support.

Education and Qualifications

• Mandatory: (Bio)medical or scientific degree.
• Driver’s license.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as MSL or Medical Manager in the innovative pharmaceutical industry.
• At least 1 year of experience in a commercial role within the industry.
• Fluent in Italian (native) and English.
• Desirable: Dermatology or Oncology experience.
• Desirable: Experience with Early Access Programs in Italy.
