Competenze

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an MSL or Medical Manager in the innovative pharmaceutical industry.

  • Native Italian speaker and fluent in English.

For our dynamic growing, innovative Brands division within an already established big generic International pharmaceutical company, we are looking for an experienced Medical Affairs field professional who dares to look outside the clear-cut frames of a common big pharma MSL job and who wants to operate in an autonomous entrepreneurial way. This job offers you the opportunity to develop in the broadest sense by being engaged in all aspects of the business and manage your own daily work.

You will join a team of 2 Medical Managers in Italy, and you will be responsible for the Medical Affairs strategy and execution of medical projects, as well as providing Medical Affairs support to Sales and Marketing colleagues, with a demonstrable affinity for seeing commercial opportunities. You should reside in Italy and be able to speak English, as communication with the European Management team is required. You will report to the Lead Medical Managers Europe. The European management team is located across various locations in Europe, with European offices in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Major tasks & responsibilities

  • Developing Medical Affairs strategy and executing scientific projects such as publications and advisory boards.
  • Building peer-to-peer relationships with country KOLs, influencers, and leaders in the scientific and healthcare community using evidence-based information.
  • Supporting the development and launch of products through scientific exchange in melanoma.
  • Assisting with Early Access Program requests from HCPs in Italy for melanoma patients.
  • Providing business support to Italian marketing, commercial, and market access teams for Odomzo (sonidegib) in locally advanced basal cell carcinoma.
  • Leading the process for investigator-initiated trials approval and monitoring their progress.
  • Disseminating clinical and scientific information about marketed and pipeline compounds in a timely, compliant, and ethical manner.
  • Developing links with and supporting networks in Derma-oncology and other potential therapeutic areas.
  • Communicating emerging data to experts and responding to healthcare professional inquiries.
  • Supporting colleagues in organizing HCP events by providing medical content support.

Education Qualifications (Graduate- Post Graduate)

  • Mandatory – (bio)medical or scientific academic degree.
  • Driver’s license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an MSL or Medical Manager in the innovative pharmaceutical industry.
  • At least one year of experience in a commercial role within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Native Italian speaker and fluent in English.
  • Desirable: Dermatology or Oncology experience.
  • Desirable: Experience with Early Access Programs in Italy.
