An innovative international pharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced Medical Affairs professional to join their dynamic Brands division. This role offers the chance to operate autonomously while engaging in all aspects of the business. You will be responsible for developing Medical Affairs strategies, executing scientific projects, and providing support to Sales and Marketing teams. Competenze

For our dynamic growing, innovative Brands division within an already established big generic International pharmaceutical company, we are looking for an experienced Medical Affairs field professional who dares to look outside the clear-cut frames of a common big pharma MSL job and who wants to operate in an autonomous entrepreneurial way. This job offers you the opportunity to develop in the broadest sense by being engaged in all aspects of the business and manage your own daily work.

You will join a team of 3 Medical Managers in Italy, and you will be responsible for the Medical Affairs strategy and execution of medical projects, as well as providing Medical Affairs support to the Sales and Marketing colleagues, with a demonstrable affinity for seeing commercial opportunities. You live in Italy and are able to speak English because of communication with the European Management team. You will report to the Lead Medical Managers Europe. The European management team is located at various places in Europe, with offices in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Major Tasks & Responsibilities
  1. Develop Medical Affairs strategy and execute scientific projects such as publications and advisory boards.
  2. Identify and develop peer-to-peer relationships with country KOLs, influencers, and leaders in the scientific and healthcare community, utilizing evidence-based information.
  3. Support the development and launch of products through scientific exchange, particularly in melanoma.
  4. Assist with Early Access Program requests from HCPs in Italy for melanoma patients.
  5. Provide business support for Italian marketing, commercial, and market access activities related to Odomzo (sonidegib) for locally advanced basal cell carcinoma.
  6. Lead the process for approval of investigator-initiated trials and monitor their progression.
  7. Disseminate clinical and scientific information regarding marketed and pipeline compounds in a timely, compliant, and ethical manner.
  8. Establish and support networks in Derma-oncology and other potential therapeutic areas.
  9. Communicate emerging data to experts and respond to healthcare professional inquiries.
  10. Support colleagues in organizing HCP events by providing medical content support.
Education & Qualifications (Graduate/Post Graduate)
  • Mandatory: (Bio)medical or scientific academic degree.
  • Driver’s license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an MSL or Medical Manager in the innovative pharmaceutical industry.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a commercial function within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Native Italian speaker and fluent in English.
  • Desirable: Dermatology or Oncology experience.
  • Desirable: Experience with Early Access Programs in Italy.
