Job Overview

Healthcare Professionals are needed to provide medical services to support Military Treatment Facilities and Health Clinics within US Army Medical Command, Regional Health Command Europe, and other Department of Defense (DoD) agencies including US Navy and US Air Forces in Europe.

Qualifications

• Degree: Certificate from an accredited medical laboratory technician training program (NAACLS, ABHES, or acceptable equivalent).
• Certification: Certification/registration as determined by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or AMT.
• Experience: Knowledge of laboratory techniques, or at least 2 years of work experience as a clinical laboratory technician in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

Perform clinical laboratory tests across various sections, prepare specimens, calibrate and maintain equipment, conduct quality control, handle specimen transport, perform molecular and microbiological testing, and ensure proper documentation and safety procedures.

Additional Tasks

• Report results into the LIS (CHCS), maintain records, participate in quality management, and assist in disease surveillance activities.
• Participate in training, safety, external support, and specimen tracking activities.
• Perform additional related tasks as assigned.

Support Status

This position is eligible for support under NATO Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) articles 72 or 73.
