Role Description

LEO Pharma has embarked on an ambitious journey to make a difference for those who need us most in medical dermatology, as well as strengthening thrombosis and our core product portfolio. We need you to be part of this mission.

This role will support the Italian Affiliate as a medical information strategic partner. It will be dynamic, proactive, strategic, and fast-paced, providing high-quality Affiliate Medical Information services to healthcare professionals, patients, and other stakeholders.

At the global level, Medical Information offers you the opportunity to shape the future and help people with skin diseases and venous thromboembolism live more fulfilling lives by advancing the standard of care.

Your Role

This position involves close collaboration across the Italian Affiliate, Global Medical Information (GMI) colleagues, outsourcing vendors, and healthcare professionals.

• Medical Information Strategy: Provide high-level scientific input; support business growth by analyzing trends in medical and scientific insights; assess the need to update or develop scientific materials; and develop innovative initiatives to support Medical Affairs and local business activities.
• Medical Information Service: Provide timely, accurate, and clear information in response to inquiries about LEO Pharma products, facilitating safe and effective use.
• Congress Activities: Lead Medical Information activities at local and global congresses, providing balanced scientific information on all marketed and pipeline products.
• Global Medical Information: Contribute to and develop GMI strategies and activities, build strong relationships with global colleagues, and support regional teams as needed.

Your Qualifications

To succeed, you should have:

• A scientific degree or equivalent (Pharmacist, Nurse)
• Significant experience in a senior Medical Information role within the pharmaceutical industry
• Strong scientific knowledge for data analysis from clinical studies and published data
• Proven scientific writing and verbal communication skills
• High-level technical and compliance skills for reviewing materials and authoring SOPs
• Efficiency in Medical Information systems
• Fluency in Italian and English

The ideal candidate is an excellent team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of driving results with a strategic mindset.

Your Team

You will be part of both the Italian Medical Affairs team and the global GMI team based in the UK. The role reports directly to the GMI Regions’ Team Manager and dotted line to the Italian Medical Director. GMI reports to Global Medical Affairs in Denmark.
