Icon Clinical Plc in Perugia, Umbria, Italy, seeks a Medical Director - Neurology to lead medical strategy and guidance for neurology programs within ICON, ensuring ethical, compliant and high-impact clinical research.

You will collaborate with sponsors, sites, and cross-functional teams to shape protocol medical issues, safety reviews, and investigator meeting presentations, while contributing to business development and global program leadership.

• Provide therapeutic and drug development expertise; interact with sponsors and sites on protocol medical issues
• Contribute to investigator meeting presentations, review study documentation, oversee safety data reviews
• Support business development and medical leadership across global CNS programs
• Travel ~10% to sites as needed

In this role you will lead medical strategy and guidance for neurology programs within ICON, ensuring ethical, compliant and high-impact clinical research. You will collaborate with sponsors, sites, and cross-functional teams to shape protocol medical issues and safety reviews, while contributing to investigator meetings and business development. You drive medical leadership, enable efficient operations, and help advance neurological therapies at a global CRO. • Medical degree (MD or equivalent)
• Board Certification in Neurology
• Minimum 2 years in Clinical Research in academia, pharma/biotech/CRO
• Strong ability to review and evaluate clinical data; excellent oral and written communication
• Proven medical leadership and consultation experience in pharma/biotech; regulatory/ethical know-how
• Willingness to travel ~10%
