Position Overview:

The Media Manager supports the Marketing and Communications Director in the definition of the media strategy in Southern Europe cluster on a Country-level, ensuring a consistent brand voice, maximizing brand awareness, and playing a key role in developing brand concepts and local media initiatives.

S/he is responsible for all aspects of media, including planning, execution, and analysis of media campaigns, ensuring effective messaging and brand consistency.

Key Accountabilities:

Definition and execution of media strategies

  • Deliver optimal channel mix recommendations thanks to a strong grasp of the media landscape across the cluster and our target customer behavior
  • Have a strong knowledge of the competitive scenario and carry consistent benchmarking analysis to identify new opportunities
  • Coordinate local media agencies to outline effective offline media plans
  • Collaborate with the Region in the definition of online campaigns, social and digital
  • Menage relations with media outlets and negotiate special projects

Content creation

  • Propose local initiatives to boost Global campaigns, identifying the right format and channels
  • Work closely with the PR and talents team to leverage Ambassadors and FOTH for local content creation

Reporting

  • Collaborate with local media agency to deliver monthly Media Spend Reports
  • Passion and acumen for media reporting: each campaign must have a post campaign report, complete with actionable takeaways

Budget Management

  • Manage budget at Cluster and Country level, ensuring optimization of resources
  • Track all expenses and makes sure all invoices are up-to-date
  • Make budget recommendation during the yearly strategic plan

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years’ experience in the same role in multinational companies
  • Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in communications and/or marketing
  • Experience in managing media budgets
  • Strategic and analytical thinking, excellent communication skills and accountability
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt well to change and multi-task
  • Ability to seamlessly work with cross-functional teams and external agency stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of digital and traditional media, web analytics, and technology
  • Experience with digital analytics platforms, sophisticated reporting, data collection & analysis
  • Fluent in English and Italian, a third language is an appreciated plus
