Prysmian Group is seeking a media relations specialist to support media and content strategy. The role involves building relationships with Italian and international outlets, delivering major press moments, and enhancing the press office through daily news reviews and media monitoring.

The candidate should be bilingual English/Italian with a strong media network and a willingness to explore creative outreach, content production, and public affairs activities in a global, international setting.

Your role

You will support the development of Prysmian’s media and content strategy and so we are looking for a media relation specialist with a few years of experience coming from either a publicly listed company, agency working with listed companies or having experience as a financial/business journalist.

Your activities

• Support the enhanced efforts of Prysmian to build relationships with tier 1 outlets in Italy and internationally.
• You will play a central role in the delivery of major press moments such as the financial results.
• Support the development of the press office through the daily press review, daily news updates and media monitoring.
• You will create new ways of engaging with media outlets - from AI to social media, beyond the traditional press release.
• Support content and channel delivery is going to be part of your role
• You will support the development of Prysmian’s institutional relationships.
• Help build a stronger network of collaboration and stories coming from the global Prysmian community of communicators
• You will play a central role in the delivery of major press moments such as the financial results
• Support in the production of press releases
• Support the preparation of top management for interviews, including building a repository of internal and external research to be used when needed

Who you are

• Bilingual English and Italian.
• You have a solid network of contacts in the Italian media sphere and solid understanding of dynamics of the global media outlook and proven experience in the field.
• Willingness to explore and find creative outlets for Prysmian to reach net audiences.
• Willingness to engage with content production overall, and support public affairs activities.
• Passion to build a global communication department in a truly international setting.

What we offer

• Type of contract: Permanent Full time
• Location: Milan
• Applicable Collective Agreement: CCNL Gomma, Plastica, Cavi elettrici e affini. Job Level/Category in line with the applicable collective agreement.
• Gross annual salary no less than: € 40.000
