A leading energy company is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to oversee maintenance and installation tasks for large steam turbines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power generation, team leadership skills, and be fluent in English. This role requires extensive travel to customer sites worldwide and the ability to work independently under pressure.

Competenze

  • Proven background in power generation with rotating equipment.

About the Role

A Snapshot of Your Day In this position you will join a multi-national and multi-skilled team of Field Service Engineers and technicians, who support a large range of rotating equipment worldwide committed to deliver the best in class service and support to our customers. As a supervisor you ensure planning and execution of the different tasks and activities during the maintenance and installation of the LargeSteam Turbines in our customers site worldwide.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Implement and supervise new unit installation, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, overhaul, repair, modification, and upgrade at the level established by management on rotating equipments as shift supervisor or technical site lead.
  • Review, inspect the required standard and special tooling and equipment during on site outage preparation phase.
  • Prepare daily shift activities and ensure clear shift handover with peers, lead and communicate clearly on job requirements to personnel and subcontractors.
  • Collaborates with the team to ensure accurate and timely submission of documentation on assembly / disassembly activities.
  • Actively support with outage preparation activities with project engineers, project managers, tooling facilities engineers, outage manager and HSE professional on demand.
What You Bring
  • Proven background in power generation, ideally with Siemens Energy rotating equipments. Good understanding of HSE and Quality requirements and standards in the related field of work.
  • Skilled in mechanical maintenance within power or Oil & Gas sectors, with hands-on experience and ability to interpret technical drawings and standards.
  • Proven team leadership, fluent in English (spoken and written), with additional languages considered a plus.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office and other relevant IT tools; proactive and problem-solving approach.
  • Strong collaborator in diverse, high-pressure environments; committed to continuous learning and innovation.
  • Willing to travel extensively (around 80 / 90% of the time) and work independently in worldwide customers sites.
