Your contribution to the energy transition

As our Mechanical Construction Supervisor, you are responsible for on-site supervision of Mechanical (Post, Rack, and Modules) construction works on solar PV EPC projects in Italy including full responsibility for technical, environmental, safety compliance, quality, schedule, and integration control. You can look forward to the following tasks :

• Reporting to the Construction Manager and the Construction Team Leader, working with Project Purchasing & Logistics, System Design, Specialists, Consultants, Suppliers, Subcontractors, and the Client to ensure compliant project execution.
• Achieving construction project / trade results by defining project / trade purpose and scope; calculating resources required; establishing standards and protocols; allocating resources; scheduling and coordinating subcontractors and staff (including quality personnel reporting to him / her); evaluating milestones and change orders via the Construction Manager.
• Inspecting, supervising, and reporting on construction activities in conformance with project drawings, specifications, schedules, procedures, quality requirements, and safety standards in line with company procedures, legislation, standards, and industry best practices.
• Managing supplier and subcontractor construction & commissioning; implementing KPIs; controlling and monitoring schedule and quality performance; raising NCRs and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensuring full compliance with QHSE regulations, legislation, standards, codes, and requirements in Italy.
• Ensuring contractual trade schedule and payment milestones are achieved, including documentation preparation and compilation.
• Managing daily construction reports & records, and reviewing work procedures, QCPs, and ITPs.
• Supporting Logistics team with material distribution on site and incoming goods inspections.

Your energy is required

We value candidates with these qualifications :

• Civil / Mechanical Engineering background.
• Minimum of 5 years construction supervision experience in Mechanical infrastructure projects, including 2 years in utility-scale solar PV plants.
• Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
• A proven track record of completing construction on time, safely, and in compliance with technical & quality standards.
• Experience managing Subcontractors to strict time and quality metrics.
• Familiarity with construction management tools, MS Office, etc.
• Knowledge of construction, labor, environmental, safety requirements, and legislation.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
