A leading energy and metallurgy firm is seeking a Mechanical Site Engineer for their M Renewables team in Italy. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, along with 2-3 years of mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in renewable energy, and will be responsible for overseeing subcontractor activities, project budgeting for mechanical works, and providing technical support onsite.

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Site Engineer to join our M Renewables team in Italy, part of our subsidiary METKA EGN.

Your role will include:

1. Initial site setup and establishment (supported by HSE site engineers)
2. Coordinate with project manager, construction manager, and site engineers to ensure integrated project delivery
3. Supervise subcontractors' schedules and works
4. Report deviations from the scope of work by subcontractors to the project manager
5. Assist with project budgets for mechanical works, ensuring cost-effective procurement of materials and services
6. Provide technical support onsite

What you bring to the role:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering; MSc is an advantage
• 2-3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in renewable energy
• Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, and civil construction drawings
• Fluency in English and Italian
• Knowledge of AUTOCAD
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
