Job Description

Salary: $18 to $20 per HR

Whether it is a full service, equipment and sales support program or a standard service call program, Beverage Systems uses technology, experience, and drive to make our customer's beverage program a success!

We are looking for talented individuals with a passion for customer service, attention to detail, and a desire to apply their technical skills throughout a busy work day. You will spend most of your day in the NC & SC areas servicing customers, troubleshooting, and working with our regional dispatch team. There will be times that overnight and traveling will be required based on business need. This role will require interaction with various businesses including retail, hospital, and educational institutions, looking for strong communication skills and enjoyment of working with the public. Job Brief:

The Technician will professionally diagnose, restore, and repair beverage equipment throughout the day. Responsible for properly installing, repairing, and maintaining field beverage equipment. Must represent the company and its customers in a professional manner. Maintain an acceptable level of productivity related to the number of completed calls.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance on commercial beverage and related equipment at customer locations.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
  • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, troubleshooting, and repair of beverage equipment.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Demonstrate proper knowledge of equipment. Communicate with supervisor when extra training may be needed.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
  • Comply with regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Conduct yourself professionally, treating customers and driving company vehicles with respect.
  • Fill out field service reports properly and legibly, with detailed information.
  • Maintain communication with the dispatcher to ensure accurate information exchange.
  • Maintain company vehicles in good condition, both mechanically and organizationally. Arrange for routine maintenance and keep proper documentation.
  • Complete all training requirements set by management.
  • Be available to cover emergency calls on weekends on a rotating basis.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Occasional weekend availability.
  • Some electrical troubleshooting knowledge, including reading volts, amps, ohms, and continuity on multimeters.
  • Some plumbing knowledge.
  • Own general tools; specialty tools provided by the company.

Working Conditions:

Long-distance driving, occasional lifting of machinery/items exceeding 75 lbs., and overtime as requested.
