About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Milan, Italy.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to drive commercial excellence on high-profile projects.

Main Responsibilities :

• Budgeting and Financial Reporting : Manage budgets and provide financial reports for complex data centre, pharmaceutical, or semi-conductor projects.
• Commercial Leadership : Lead interim commercial meetings with clients and internal project teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
• Commercial Reporting : Provide detailed commercial reports to the Project Manager to inform strategic decisions.
• Subcontractor Management : Oversee subcontractor accounts and payment certificates to maintain accurate records.
• Commercial Risk Management : Identify and mitigate commercial risks to safeguard project interests.
• Collaboration : Work closely with the Planning Engineer to ensure accurate progress reporting.
• Negotiation : Negotiate with clients or their representatives to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

Qualifications :

A minimum of 4+ years of quantity surveying experience on mechanical projects.

A 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics / Quantity Surveying with a technical background.

Experience working on mechanical value projects over €5 million in data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, or commercial sectors.
