Exyte is seeking a QC Inspector Mechanical to oversee inspection of mechanical construction and installation activities on EPC projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, engineering requirements, quality standards and regulations. You will play a key role in maintaining quality throughout project execution and supporting successful delivery.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years hands-on construction experience within EPC projects and/or process industries.
• Experience in quality control and inspection activities on industrial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering codes, standards, and good engineering practices.

Mansioni

• Review project requirements and determine inspection, examination, and testing needs for assigned project areas.
• Interpret and review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design requirements, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Perform functional checks and mechanical completion inspections for pressure and atmospheric vessels.
• Conduct inspections of trays, including dimensional checks, water tightness tests, and related quality controls.
• Witness and verify inspections, tests, and quality control activities performed by contractors and suppliers.
• Perform hydrostatic testing of tanks and monitor pad settlement measurements.
• Inspect equipment installation activities including alignment, leveling, and mechanical integrity verification.
• Maintain inspection records and prepare reports documenting quality activities and findings.
• Control and monitor inspection status within the assigned area of responsibility.
• Support project quality management activities and assist with validation and verification processes.
