Position: Mechanical Project Engineer

The selected candidate will join a team of 5 people and will independently manage the complete cycle of production orders. Responsibilities include verifying the feasibility of customization requests from the Italian and foreign Commercial Office, interfacing directly with clients when required, and composing production bills of materials according to requested customizations. The role involves 2D and 3D design of machines and mechanical or carpentry parts, overseeing all phases of machine production from part processing to assembly, and ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met.

Key Activities

• Analyze and develop projects for modifications and updates of existing machines, adapting to customer customization requests.
• Provide technical support to the Commercial Office and assess project feasibility.
• Compose production bills of materials.
• Design mechanical components in 2D and 3D.
• Size and produce mechanical components, including structural and light carpentry parts.
• Manage relationships with suppliers to guarantee technical compliance.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and technical standards.
• Monitor commissioning and testing activities, resolving technical issues.
• Engage in R&D to develop new customizations and innovations.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering.
• Proficiency with main design software.
• Knowledge of the English language.

Work Location and Contract
