Il candidato sarà responsabile della progettazione, validazione e analisi dei componenti, lavorando in un ambiente multiculturale e innovativo. Descrizione del lavoro

The green evolution of the Ansaldo Energia portfolio goes hand in hand with product diversification – intended to broaden the Group scope of activity and cover new power generation and preservation technologies.

This mission is assigned to Ansaldo Green Tech – a Company focused on the energy transition business, incorporated in 2021 and fully owned by Ansaldo Energia, which has inherited from Ansaldo Energia specific know-how and capabilities.

Position

The role of Mechanical Integrity Specialist at AGT includes several key responsibilities :

  • Define models and boundary conditions to simulate the real behavior of the components and identify the main failure modes.
  • Iterate closely with other experts in different disciplines (like CFD, Electrochemical, Material science, measurements).
  • Support Lab and manufacturing process development by providing technical expertise
  • Define component validation tests and analyze data from manufacturing and the field to validate the design, including the prototype assembly phase.
  • Issue and check technical reports and prepare design review material
  • Capture lessons learned and ensure the integration of field feedback into the design
  • Issue nonconformity resolutions with Quality and design teams.
  • Seek opportunities to develop expertise and maintain professional relationships, managing an internal and external network.
  • Collaborate with external partners to follow up on design activities in collaboration with subcontractors.

Requirements

  • Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 2 year’s experience, in components design with
  • Experience in state-of-the-art 3D CAD modeling (Nx,Catia)
  • Knowledge and practice in use of programming languages and codes (APDL, Matlab,Python)
  • Fluency in English
  • Open-minded, analytical and target-oriented team player able to work in a multicultural environment
  • Proficiency in technical / scientific literature analysis
  • Data management oriented mindset and data driven design approach
  • Spirit of initiative, passionate for technology and research / development / Innovation themes
