Tenova in Castellanza (VA) is seeking a Mechanical Hydraulic Engineer to join the Pomini Team. You will lead the hydraulic design of machine tools, manage BOMs, and coordinate with external firms and suppliers in a multi-national setting.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree with machine design focus (or aerospace with structural focus), strong CAD skills (Inventor, AutoCAD) and fluency in reading electrical diagrams and PLC code. Hybrid work model offered.

Competenze

• Technical mechanical high school diploma.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Machine Design) or in Aerospace Engineering (Structural) preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Inventor Professional (Autodesk).
• In-depth knowledge of AutoCAD (Autodesk).
• Fluent in reading electrical diagrams.
• Fluent in reading PLC code.
• Familiarity with Product Life Management (PLM).
• Knowledge of SAP is welcome.
• In-depth knowledge of machine tool mechanisms and structures and related technologies.
• Knowledge of calculation and sizing procedures of machine parts.
• Knowledge of English language.

Mechanical hydraulic engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer willing to join our Pomini Team, with a strong passion for technology and motivation to work in a multicultural and international environment characterized by high technological complexity.

Key Responsibilities

• Basic and detailed design of the hydraulic part of our machine tools and auxiliary machines
• Autonomous management of the bill of materials of hydraulic part to be designed upon request of customers
• Basic and detailed design of infrastructures for machines installation (typically: piping)
• Calculation reports on hydraulic design
• Review of the design of the hydraulic part of the machines, with the Structural Engineers and the Safety Engineers
• Interface with external engineering firms for detailed design and with hydraulic suppliers for finalization of the projects
• Review of the work produced by external engineering firms
• Assessments for quotations
• Work with other corporate departments, in particular Planning, Purchasing and Production to improve the efficiency of the hydraulic parts of the projects
• Technical communication with customers
• Occasionally, visits to erection sites in Italy and abroad to verify progress and for troubleshooting activities.

For the position, the starting gross annual salary will be from € 40.000, with the final offer determined based on the candidate's seniority, experience, and skills, as well as the outcome of the selection process.
