Summary:

Select, size and draft mechanical parts and sub-systems into projects at cost, manufacturability, time and designed quality.

The role:

1. Define and implement reliable technical solutions suitable for the use, taking guidance from Sub-system Team leader Engineering Concept design of new solutions.
2. Design to cost.
3. Create detailed drawings or/and implement changes to existing designs.
4. SolidWorks 3D modelling software is mandatory.
5. Select proper components according to Manufacturer's instruction and good practice.
6. Create and store drawings and 3D models electronically in the appropriate Document Vault.
7. Create and implement part number and BOM in the Company ERP.
8. Support the resolution of technical issues.
9. Assist sub-suppliers in the production process.
10. Support the installation in the workshop.

Requirements:

1. Proficient with CAD Design.
2. SolidWorks 3D modelling software.
3. Knowledge of other most known software design (2D and 3D) is a plus.
4. Ability to select suitable type and size of mechanical components for the required use.
5. Competence of manufacturability of the mechanical component.
6. Will be considered a preferential element for selection the following competences:

• Selection of actuators for moving machines.
• Mechanical static and dynamic calculation.
• Selection of specific material according to the application.
• FEA analysis expertise.
• Experience in Carpentry and surface treatment.
