Job summary

Atlas Copco Group, via Varisco Product Company in Padova, Italy, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the engineering team in development and drawing maintenance for mechanical products. The role focuses on 2D/3D CAD, production release documentation, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The candidate should have a Master’s in mechanical engineering, at least 2 years in manufacturing, and experience with CAD/SolidWorks, ERP/MRP familiarity, and Italian/English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Master’s degrees in mechanical engineering or similar.
• Experience in manufacturing company (at least 2 years).
• Experience in designing, castings and machining (at least 2 years).
• Use of CAD and SolidWorks for manufacturing products (at least 2 years).
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
• Fluent in Italian and good command of English (both spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• 2D/3D CAD design and development of specifications and drawings for design phases.
• Prepare documents for release into production (diagrams, data sheets, CE dossier).
• Participate in component development ensuring cost, manufacturability and assemblability.
• Ensure products comply with environmental and safety regulations.
• Maintain drawings, BOM, and related documents.
• Support in drafting machine use, maintenance manual and spare parts book.
• Coordinate with T&I, engineering and project leaders on development activities.
• Collaborate with other departments and project leaders for development phases.
• Assist Team Leader Labo during tests and report preparation.
