Mechanical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering team. Working closely with R&D scientists, the successful candidate will integrate main process equipment into the plant layout, define mechanical features, interact with suppliers, and support plant modeling and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Analyze plant mechanical feasibility through 3D models to ensure performance, safety, and standards.
  2. Select and specify static and rotating equipment, and develop operating and maintenance procedures.
  3. Define constructability schemes and sequences.
  4. Develop project specifications, bid packages, and work execution plans.
  5. Align vendor offers, evaluate technical bids, and coordinate subcontractor works.
  6. Establish mechanical and piping design basis.
  7. Support development of company standards and calculation models.
  8. Manage mechanical system integration and Pilot Plant 3D modeling.
  9. Perform piping stress analysis.
  10. Assist with permit documentation and submit to authorities.
  11. Follow up on orders with vendors and support commissioning and startup.
  12. Collaborate with external partners, including research institutions.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  2. Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  3. Experience with material orders, vendor relations, and technical follow-up.
  4. Proficiency in CAD software (Solid Edge preferred), AutoCAD LT, and Office suite.
  5. Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
  6. Fluent in professional English.
  7. Enthusiastic about expanding technological expertise.
  8. Knowledge of vacuum systems and carbon capture technology is advantageous.
