Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering team. Working closely with R&D scientists, the successful candidate will actively work on integrating main process equipment into the plant layout, defining mechanical features, and interacting with suppliers. The role involves supporting the Plant 3D Model, defining layouts and piping routings, and overseeing the mechanical development and scalability of the pilot plant.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyze plant mechanical feasibility using 3D models to ensure performance, safety, and standards.
2. Select static and rotating equipment, and define operating and maintenance procedures.
3. Define constructability schemes and sequences.
4. Develop project specifications, bid packages, and work execution plans.
5. Align vendor offers, evaluate technical bids, and coordinate subcontractor works.
6. Establish mechanical and piping design basis.
7. Support development of company standards and calculation models.
8. Integrate mechanical systems and manage the Pilot Plant 3D model.
9. Perform piping stress analysis.
10. Assist with permit applications and documentation for public authorities.
11. Follow up on orders with vendors and support commissioning and startup.
12. Collaborate with external partners, such as research institutions.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
2. Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3. Experience with material order follow-up and vendor relations.
4. Proficiency with CAD mechanical software (Solid Edge preferred).
5. Experience with AutoCAD LT and Microsoft Office.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills.
7. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
8. Fluent in professional English.
9. Enthusiasm for expanding technological expertise.
10. Knowledge of vacuum systems and carbon capture technology is a plus.
