Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering team. Working closely with R&D scientists, the successful candidate will integrate main process equipment into the plant layout, define mechanical features, and interact with suppliers. The role involves supporting the Plant 3D Model, developing layouts and piping routings, and overseeing the mechanical development of the pilot plant and its scalability.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Analyze plant mechanical feasibility using conceptual 3D models to ensure performance, safety, and standards.
  2. Select static and rotating equipment, and define operating and maintenance procedures.
  3. Assist in defining constructability schemes and sequences.
  4. Develop project specifications, bid packages, and work execution plans.
  5. Align vendor offers, evaluate technical bids, and coordinate subcontractor descriptions.
  6. Define mechanical and piping design basis.
  7. Support development of company standards and calculation models.
  8. Integrate mechanical systems and manage the Pilot Plant 3D model.
  9. Perform piping stress analysis.
  10. Assist with permit applications and submit documentation to public offices.
  11. Follow up on vendor orders and provide commissioning support.
  12. Collaborate with external partners, including research institutions.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum 3 years of experience.
  2. Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  3. Experience with material order follow-up and vendor relationships.
  4. Proficiency in CAD mechanical software (Solid Edge preferred).
  5. Experience with AutoCAD LT and MS Office.
  6. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  7. Fluent in professional English.
  8. Enthusiastic about expanding technological expertise.
  9. Knowledge of vacuum systems and carbon capture technology is a plus.
