Midea Group is now looking for its new Mechanical Engineer.

About the job:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in the design, development, and analysis of mechanical components and systems for our innovative HVAC products. You will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and performance specifications while adhering to industry regulations.

Your main tasks will be:

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for HVAC products, including pipelines, plastic parts, sheet metal structures, and electronic cooling solutions.
• Perform engineering analysis using Solid Edge CAD systems to ensure product functionality, manufacturability, and adherence to industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design engineers, software engineers, and manufacturing to ensure seamless product development.
• Conduct failure analysis and recommend design improvements.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of quality standards and processes.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, keeping update also in the PLM system.
• Review the design through virtual reality, involving also other teams to participate and reduce the needs of change at prototype stage.

A possible picture of the candidate is:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably in the HVAC industry.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices.
• Proven experience in using UG (NX) and CAD systems for product design and analysis.
• Experience with pipeline design, plastic product design, and sheet metal design.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge in FEM/3D printing/ NX CAD is a plus.
• Used to work within a company with process flows.
