We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering team. Working closely with R&D scientists, the successful candidate will focus on integrating main process equipment into the plant layout. Responsibilities include defining mechanical features of equipment, interacting with suppliers, aligning technical offers, and following up on orders until dispatch. The role also involves supporting and directly working on the Plant 3D Model to define layouts and piping routes, as well as overseeing the development and scalability of the pilot plant by analyzing its performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze plant mechanical feasibility through conceptual 3D models, ensuring performance, safety, and standards are met.
  • Select static and rotating equipment, and define operating and maintenance procedures.
  • Assist in defining constructability schemes and sequences.
  • Develop project specifications, bid packages, and work execution plans.
  • Align vendor offers, evaluate technical bids, and coordinate subcontractor work descriptions.
  • Define mechanical and piping design bases.
  • Support the development of new company standards and calculation models.
  • Integrate mechanical systems and manage the Pilot Plant 3D model.
  • Perform piping stress analyses.
  • Support permit applications by gathering data and submitting documentation.
  • Follow up on orders with vendors and assist during commissioning and startup.
  • Collaborate with external partners, such as research institutions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with material order follow-up and vendor relationships.
  • Proficiency with CAD mechanical software (Solid Edge is a plus).
  • Experience with AutoCAD LT and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
  • Fluent in professional English.
  • Enthusiastic about expanding technological expertise.
  • Knowledge of vacuum systems and carbon capture technology is a plus.
