Mechanical Designer

for Monfalcone (GO).

SUMMARY OF ROLE

The position requires a reliable, skilled, and careful young mechanical designer for the engineering-to-order design of medium voltage induction electric motors in an organized industrial context. Based in the production firm's engineering office, the candidate will focus on motor component creation and BOM management, with a willingness to learn by doing and follow the guidance of an experienced colleague. The role involves interaction with colleagues and specialists from various departments, including manufacturing engineers, purchasing, workshop, and specialized component suppliers.

PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the guidance of a senior designer, the candidate will develop drawings and BOM structures necessary for component purchasing and parts machining. The role also involves developing and revising job documentation in collaboration with co-engineering activities with customers. The candidate will interact with engineering specialists, job managers, and purchase specialists.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma in mechanical or electromechanical fields. Several years of experience as a mechanical designer in a complex environment are required. Skills in AutoCAD 2D, possibly Inventor 3D, and modern database workflows (SAP and Aras PLM are a plus) are necessary.
