Overview

We are looking for a Mechanical designer to support one of the LU-VE plants in Italy.

In your role you will report to the Technical Manager and you will be based in Flumignano di Talmassons (UD).

Mission of the role

Within the Technical Department, the person will be involved in the design of standard and special machines.

You will be in charge of

• Mechanical design of standard and special machines
• Creation of detailed and assembly drawings of standard and special machines
• Creation of bills of materials for standard and special machines

Education & Experience we are looking for

• At least 1 year\'s experience in the role is preferred;
• Experience in the air conditioning, refrigeration or industrial cooling sector or similar sectors is preferred;
• High school diploma (technical-mechanical specialization) or three-year degree in technical specialization (preferably mechanical engineering).

Qualifications we are looking for

• Excellent knowledge of 3D CAD (Solid Edge preferred) and of the Office Suite;
• Knowledge of the principles of thermodynamics and of the sizing of heat exchangers, even basic, is preferred;
• Knowledge/use of PLM and ERP systems is appreciated;
• Good knowledge of English (written and spoken – reference level B2);
• Ability to move independently;
• Precision and punctuality;
• Strong orientation to problem-solving and to the achievement of objectives in compliance with deadlines.
