Nidec Conversion is hiring a Mechanical Designer for Monfalcone (GO).

SUMMARY OF ROLE

The position requires a reliable, skilled, and careful young mechanical designer for the engineering-to-order design of medium voltage induction electric motors within an organized industrial setting. Based in the production firm's engineering office, the candidate focuses on motor component creation and BOM management, and is eager to learn by doing, following the guidance of experienced colleagues. The role involves interaction with colleagues and specialists from various departments, including manufacturing engineers, the purchasing office, workshop, and specialized component suppliers.

PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the guidance of a senior designer, the candidate develops drawings and BOM structures necessary for component purchasing and machining. The role also involves developing and revising job documentation in collaboration with customer co-engineering activities. The candidate interacts with engineering specialists, job managers, and purchase specialists.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Education and Qualifications

High school diploma in mechanical or electromechanical fields. Some years of experience as a mechanical designer in a complex environment are required. Skills in AutoCAD 2D, possibly Inventor 3D, and modern database workflows (SAP and Aras PLM are a plus) are necessary.

Languages
