A global product design company in Macerata, Italy, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to its product development process. The role involves mechanical design of product components, supplier interaction for mold definition, and project monitoring. Candidates should have a Master's in Mechanical Engineering and strong skills in 3D design and relevant tools like AutoCAD and Inventor. Experience in mechanical design is preferred. Competenze

By joining our Product Platform Department you will cover a key role in Simonelli Group product design process. You will contribute to achieve our product development and quality targets while meeting our world-wide customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mechanical design of internal and external components of our products
• Definition of molds and interface with suppliers for the request and optimization of sampling
• Working in team to monitor the progress of the project Gantt chart
• Interfacing with suppliers for quotation requests and co-design
• Mechanical design following the criteria of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Total Cost Ownership (TCO)
• Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Previous experience in Mechanical Design is preferred
• Strong knowledge of 3D design and related tools
• English knowledge: B2 level
• Microsoft Office package: good knowledge (especially Excel)
• AutoCAD and Inventor proficiency is a plus
• Be able to work by projects and by objectives
