Job Description

As a MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER, you will be involved in the design, customization, and BOM creation of high voltage circuit breakers, focusing on the identification and validation of mechanical/electrical spare parts of the CB (pole components, operating mechanism) according to technical specifications and customer requests. You will work with the Project Manager in the daily management of technical activities. This activity can also extend to High Voltage Disconnectors.

In detail, your responsibilities will include:

1. Drawing issue (CAD and 3D models)
2. Mechanical validation of various components
3. Investigation into alternative materials or different manufacturing technologies
4. Redesign of non-critical parts with competence center approval
5. Product customization for frameworks and orders
6. Cost analysis and manufacturing optimization proposals
7. Factor acceptance testing
8. Support in resolving non-conformities and conducting Risk and FMEA analyses
9. Issuance of technical documents for internal or external use

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a high school diploma with relevant work experience.

Experience and Knowledge

Few years of experience in mechanical/electrical engineering. Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of German is a plus.
