VRV, part of Chart Industries Inc., is an important industrial reality present for more than 60 years in the international arena both in the design and production of pressure equipment for the Oil & Gas sectors, and in the engineering and manufacture of insulation tanks for the distribution and storage of gas in the Cryogenic sector, as well as a company operating in the Automotive HNLG business.

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team, contributing to the design of new cutting-edge products into our cryogenic division.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

• Complete processing of production design documentation for orders of the specified scope, while observing technical, technological, safety and economic parameters that are set by the production order, technical standards, and specifications.
• Management of modeling, documentation, technical drawing, and related parameters according to the specifications dictated by the customer and production requests.
• Responsibility for ensuring VRV - Chart deliver the best technical solutions in line with best industry standards to the benefit of all stakeholders.
• Preparation of technical documentation for product testing and product description.
• Become involved in the full project life cycle – from concept to manufacture.
• Responsibility for meeting all requirements of assigned orders and projects (meeting deadlines, budget, and quality).
• Liase with all the relevant stakeholders like customers, suppliers, project engineers, production, and purchase department during project execution.
• Application of ISO 9001 product and quality standards.

Requirements & Preferred Qualifications…

• Degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent technical background.
• At least 1-2 years experience in cryogenic or in pressure vessel design.
• Knowledge of design, technology and manufacturing principles.
• Knowledge of mechanical design process.
• PC skills including CAD systems at user level, especially 3D CAD, Solidworks, Creo Element Direct.
• Fluent knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work in dynamic and demanding conditions.
• Ability to work in a team, proactivity and good problem-solving skills complete the profile we are looking for.
