Job summary

Ilpra Group, based in Mortara, Lombardy, Italy, seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Engineering Department. The role covers mechanical design of packaging machines and automated lines, and supports projects from design through to production and industrialization.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3D design experience, and are proficient in Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault. Basic pneumatics knowledge and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in 3D mechanical design, preferably in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor.
• Experience with Autodesk Vault PDM.
• Basic pneumatics knowledge.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Job description

For our operational headquarters in Mortara (PV), we are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer. The successful candidate will join the Engineering Department and be responsible for the mechanical design of packaging machines and automated packaging lines, contributing to project development from the design phase through technical support for production and product industrialization.

What We Are Looking For:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field;
• Proven experience in 3D technical design, preferably within the manufacturing industry;
• Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor modeling software;
• Experience with PDM systems, preferably Autodesk Vault;
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics;
• Good command of the Microsoft Office suite.

Expected salary range: €30,000 to €35,000 gross annual salary (RAL), commensurate with the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
