Mechanical Commissioning Technician – Italy
Location: Trieste, Italy
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly and mechanical installation of equipment on-site, resolving mechanical interference, tolerance issues, and proposing improvement solutions.
- Conduct mechanical commissioning, adjust transmission systems, ensure smooth operation, and meet design speed and load requirements.
- Carry out self-inspections and mutual checks; document assembly and commissioning reports for future reference.
- Mentor new staff or operators, sharing mechanical assembly and commissioning skills.
- Communicate with mechanical engineers on assembly challenges and provide feedback for design/process optimization.
Requirements
- Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
- 5+ years experience in non-standard automation equipment assembly and commissioning preferred.
- Familiar with mechanical structures, assembly, and commissioning of automation equipment; able to plan assembly units according to process requirements.
- Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and independently performing commissioning.
- Responsible, able to work under pressure, with strong communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
- Willing to work overtime and travel domestically/internationally.
