The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering, with 1-3 years of CAD experience. Fluency in English and Italian is required, along with citizenship in Italy due to work nature.

MECHANICAL CAD DESIGN ENGINEER - AVIATION DOMAIN

Job Location: Brindisi Area, Italy

Role Overview

The selected resource - going through an intense onboarding process aimed at developing appropriate customer products’ knowledge, working methodologies and CAD skills - will be directly engaged in the engineering project activities, with increasing levels of autonomy and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Modeling simple and complex mechanical components;
• Modeling simple and complex assemblies;
• Drafting activities;
• Learn, understand, and apply our customer’s standard procedures;

Required Skills & Experience

• Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering;
• 1-3 years’ experience in the field of CAD modeling & detailing, using UG NX10 (and above);
• Experience with Teamcenter 11 (and above);
• Experience in creating 3D models & drawings;
• Experience with engineering bill of material creation, update and modification;
• Knowledge of manufacturing drawings creation, and drawing reading skills;
• Knowledge of the geometric & dimension tolerances;
• Familiarity/understanding of industry codes and standards such as ASME Y14.5;
• Fluent in English and Italian.

Due to the nature of work, candidates should be Italian Citizens.
