Quest Global is seeking a Mechanical CAD Design Engineer in the Turin Area, Italy. The role involves modeling mechanical components and assemblies, along with drafting activities. Candidates should possess a degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering and have 1-3 years’ experience in CAD modeling, especially with UG NX10.

Job Location: Turin Area, Italy

Role overview

The selected resource - going through an intense onboarding process aimed at developing appropriate customer products’ knowledge, working methodologies and CAD skills - will be directly engaged in the engineering project activities, with increasing levels of autonomy and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Modeling simple and complex mechanical components;
• Modeling simple and complex assemblies;
• Drafting activities;
• Learn, understand, and apply our customer’s standard procedures;

Required Skills & Experience

• Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering;
• 1-3 years’ experience in the field of CAD modeling & detailing, using UG NX10 (and above);
• Experience with Teamcenter 11 (and above);
• Experience in creating 3D models & drawings;
• Experience with engineering bill of material creation, update and modification;
• Knowledge of manufacturing drawings creation, and drawing reading skills;
• Knowledge of the geometric & dimension tolerances;
• Familiarity/understanding of industry codes and standards such as ASME Y14.5;
