A leading company in the food and beverage processing industry is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Cinisello Balsamo. The successful candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery, along with fostering relationships with customers. This role requires a technical diploma, willingness to travel, and proficiency in English.

• Technical Diploma in Mechatronics is preferred.
• Willingness to travel (approx. 200 days/year).

Your responsibilities and tasks :

• Establish and maintain adequate commercial relationships with customers.
• Perform basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair on designated equipment.
• Serve as supervisor during the installation of lines or machinery when necessary.
• Coordinate activities during the installation of lines or machinery when necessary.
• Maintain and care for supplied tools and test equipment, ensuring proper calibration.
• Identify and participate in sales opportunities such as parts, new contracts, contract renewals, and system sales.

Your profile and qualifications :

• Secondary School Technical Diploma (Mechatronic specialization is preferable).
• Willingness to travel to Italy (abroad for approximately 200 days / year, mostly in Italy but also some travel abroad).
• Willingness to work on Saturdays and Sundays occasionally (once a month variably).
• Very good written and spoken English (minimum B2).
• Experience in technical documentation and knowledge of GEA product portfolio and applications is a plus.
