Thales Alenia Space is seeking a Materials and Processes Quality Assurance professional in L’Aquila to ensure the highest quality level for materials and processes used in space hardware. You will perform SMT MPCB reviews, update control plans, and validate qualification plans for internal and external units.

The role requires an Engineer or PhD in materials-related fields, strong ECSS and IPC standards knowledge, and experience with SMT/PCB processes.

Competenze

• Engineer or PhD in Materials, Technologies, Physics or similar.
• ECSS-Q-ST-70-60 & ECSS-Q-ST-70-61 knowledge required.
• IPC standards knowledge and experience with manufacturing quality.
• Experience in SMT/PCB processes and materials handling.

Mansioni

• Perform SMT Materials and Processes Control Board (MPCB) reviews for units.
• Periodically update Program Materials and Processes Control Plan.
• Review and validate SMT/PCB qualification plans and reports.
• Review Declared Materials and Processes Lists for procured or internal units.
• Support internal customers on materials and processes non-conformances.
• Contribute to NRB and to Inquiry Boards and Alert Steering Committees.
